What is the Chamber? The Mariposa County Chamber of Commerce is a pro-active association designed to meet business community needs. The Chamber is run by its members through an elected board of directors who serve without pay. The board determines the policy and hires the professional staff. The efforts of these committees include a wide variety of planning and execution due to the ever changing Chamber activities, provided to meet the needs of the business community. How is the Chamber funded? Financed on a voluntary basis, the Chambers expenses are apportioned among its members. Additionally, the Chamber seeks business opportunities and event activities that support the efforts of the Chambers goals and objectives for the business community.
